Giving Q&A

  • We are stewards. Everything we have is ultimately God’s and not our own. We are stewards, not owners.
  • Out of obedience to God. Malachi 3:10 instructs those who follow God to bring “their whole tithe to the storehouse.” A tithe is defined as 10% of our earnings (Deuteronomy 14:22). By giving our tithe, we demonstrate our obedience and trust in God as our Provider. We believe 90% with God is more than 100% without Him.
When you give to The Crossing, you are giving through The Crossing.
  • Missions. Our first 10% goes to local and global missions. Learn more about our mission partners HERE.
  • Adult Ministries. We allocate approximately 54% to our various adult ministry environments.
  • Next Gen Ministries. Approximately 17% of our annual budget is invested in our Next Generation (birth-young adults).
  • Operations. The final 19% is budgeted to general operating expenses.

  • ONLINE
    Over 80% of our giving occurs digitally. ACH (electronic check through your bank) is the best way to maximize every dollar without the church incurring fees.
  • CASH or CHECK
    If you prefer to give via cash or check, you may do so on each campus at the offering boxes located by the auditorium doors.
